Pure Water Project Uganda 2013

***28th April 2013 ***

Flights are booked we are flying to Entebbe on the 4th of October on the new KLM service from Manston. Our main fundraiser for the trip is rowing the English Channel at the end of August. The event is kindly being sponspored by  The Bunker Secure Hosting and the team of 7 are also raising much needed funds.  Click on the tab at the top to track our preparations for the event and if you would like to donate there is a tab for that too. All donations gratefully received.

 ***1st March 2013 ***

Following the success of last years project we have
decided to go back to Uganda. Planning is at the early stages
and our plans advance we will post more information on here.

If you would like to join us then for all or part of trip then
please get in touch for more details. We are looking to go for
around 20 days in early October.

Our aim is to spend some time at Mount Zion Orphanage just north of Kamplala and then head to the north west of Uganda where we have located another orphanage which needs help.

Our stategy will be the same as for the last trip - We pay for our own flights and subsistance while over there and then every penny raised goes directly into the projects worked on while we are there. There is no middle man, umbrella organisation or administration fees. This means that all monies raised will benefit the establishements we are supporting.

Our time again will be short in Uganda, we still have a lot of preparation and planning to do and we are making good progress due to the help of contacts we have established over there. We want to make as much progress as we can during our time there and make sure that we achieve something worthwhile.

A big thanks to everyone who has helped and donated so far - we will do our very best to make sure that your support continues to provide a better standard of living for some people who are much less fortunate than ourselves.

Thanks again
